What are potential alternative energy solutions to replace fossil fuels?

Answered By Editor

There are multiple alternative solutions to replace fossil fuels. Cars are now being made to run on used vegatable oil, and some are testing water driven engines. Homes are taking advantage of wind turbines to generate electricity. Solar panels use the sun to generate electricity.

Ultimately, to replace fossil fuels, we must find cheap and efficient sources of renewable energy. Many eco-friendly people have installed solar panels on their homes. Additionally, biodiesel fuels are becoming more available (such as corn-based ethanol or used cooking oils). Cars may one day run off of emission-free fuel cells, and wind power is being harnessed. Overall, there are a variety of alternative energy sources that can replace fossil fuels.
